Meet The Team:
Owner/Head Coach David Rodriguez
A professional fitness coach since 2010, David has a lengthy track record of success in the Kansas City Area.
In 2023, David proudly took over BodySmith Personal Training to continue his mentor’s legacy of excellence, community, and inclusivity.
With specializations in weight loss transformation, nutrition coaching, and performance enhancement, coach David offers sessions that will make you fall in love with the process of getting healthy and strong.
Fitness/Nutrition Coach Carl Walker
A Kansas City native, Coach Carl’s passion for fitness came during his time playing college level baseball.
With specializations in nutrition coaching, 1-1 personal training and corrective exercise. Coach Carl offers a unique blend of practical expertise and real life experience to help his clients achieve lasting results.

WHAT YOU’LL GET WHEN WORKING WITH US:
1. Your Introductory Consultation
First things first, we will get to know one another!
During your consultation, we will walk you through our studio to allow you to become comfortable with the space.
After the tour, we will sit down, and talk about all things you.
We will discuss your training history, goals, trouble spots, schedule, and more. And see if we are a good fit.
If we are a good match, we will schedule a complimentary fitness and nutrition assessment. (More on this below)
2. Friendly Fitness + Nutrition Assessment
We will guide you through a simple workout designed to identify strong points and trouble spots so that we can build the right plan for you.
These assessments are low pressure sessions, designed to be casual, thorough, and fun!
After our workout we will chat about your nutrition, and discuss basic goals, tactics, and strategies that fit your lifestyle.
3. Your Personal Plan + Engaging Sessions
This is where the fun begins.
After your assessment, we will craft you a bespoke plan, suited to your preferences and goals.
We will meet 2-4 times per week for 1-1 sessions to tackle your plan together!
Every session will be different, and tailored to your specific training plan to keep things fresh and engaging.
4. Ongoing Support & “Never-Fall-Off” Accountability
It helps to have someone in your corner when pursuing important goals.
As we work together, you will benefit from built-in accountability and personalized resources designed to accelerate your progress.
You will also get full-time access to your coaches line to reach out with any questions you may have.
With personalized support, you will never be alone on your journey.
And as a team, we will make sure you achieve all of your targets, while having a blast and celebrating milestones the entire way.
